Rich Life, Tired Night

• Dan’s bday dinner and baking the French apple tarts I first made him before we married.
• My first book club w dear Lisa, Sue, Amy, Becky, Cathy, Heidi and Maria. Love those big-hearted, energizer-bunny boot camp friends. Now I see their brainy sides more clearly, too.
• Sug to groomer and back.
• Walked loop around block.
• Energy lagged after pasta, forkfuls of apple tart and spoonfuls of nondairy ice cream [for Fig].
• Watched movie "Paulie" [about a talking parrot] with Dan and Punch after dinner. She is in a big bird-loving phase and along with Figgy, lobbying big-time for 2 parakeets.
