Punchy is at her friend’s for an overnight--they biked and swam in Brewster, and P also paddle-boarded today in a Brewster pond with her Wellfleet Audubon day camp squad.
I’m driving to Logan Airport in Boston tonight--I’ve been to many airports, but never there.
Figgy and Florida Orange 🍊 are flying from West Palm Beach shortly. Their flight was delayed a couple? of times and they couldn’t fly standby.
Figgy has been on her long-planned vacay to Florida and then this weekend on the Cape. Flo O 🍊 had to work this week. [Obviously, she lives in the Sunshine State.]
I do feel lonely this eve with Dan in Wisconsin and am grateful for my Sugar. I even locked the front screen door. I rarely lock the doors up here! I think I might take Sug with me on the estimated 1 hour and 40 minutes drive to Logan, to keep me company.
The delay might be til midnight now. Actually, make that 12:23 a.m.
On Monday, after we clean the house top to bottom and go to the garbage dump/"transfer station’ with all the trash and recycling, I will drop 🍊 off in Hyannis for bus to Logan.
The money is scaring me. I have intentionally avoided Chatham, where the Lilly Pulitzer shop is.
But let me add on Wednesday, Thursday and today. Not in order, just as I remember.
MONEY SPENT OUT OF POCKET/3 DAYS
TOTAL FOR MONTH AS OF AUGUST 9: $1,482.62.
Average daily spend so far: $164.74.
