Punch and I boarded 11:43 bus to NYC....walked across town to Grand Central Station like peddlers with big sacks on our back....Punchy's contained stuffed animals, toys etc....mine, too many clothes and my CPAP machine....we will be here til Thursday, we think, unless we tire Sis out too much...middle school starts Sept. 5.
We came, we swam in the pretty Water Club pool, ate an elegant dinner in the club dining room [filet tips, Cusabi--delicious cucumber wasabi dressing--with salad, free-range chicken, whipped potatoes, etc.], Sis and I walked Buttercup.....

- Round trip bus fare Montclair to NYC, I bought tix for way back too, $30.60.
- Grand Central Station, two Joe iced coffee drinks plus tip, $11.
- Macaron place in Port Authority, 1 for P and card for Sis, $5.67.
- Grand Central, round trip off-peak fare for me and Lex, $25.
- Fast-food Wok Chi Chinese lunch for both of us on Grand Central Dining Concourse plus can of Coke for Punch, $23.57. Ouch.
Total spent out of pocket today: $95.84.

Hi Liz.....we tired out my Sis and her sweet dog...she has her reconstructive breast surgery on Tuesday and I will be coming back for that [NYU]. So we are heading back today through grand central, so important and historic--and middle school ice cream social/orientation at 6 pm in Montclair. Have a good day. Love Alice
