Day 5, Feeling Good

I had the most delicious food today.
B: Sis made scrambled eggs w mozzarella and ham. Freshly chopped tomatoes on the side. Her special hazelnut coffee plus rye toast w butter.
L: At ROOST on Post Road in Darien, Connecticut, Sis treated me to iced coffee; BLT on sourdough toast w basil mayo, yellow tomato and lettuce; and cup of overnight oats w almond butter, which I brought home, maybe for snack tonite. I want to go back to ROOST! Excellent.
D: Just Salad, across from CBS building, near Paley Center, where I had stopped in on my way back thru NYC to see Marvelous Mrs. Maisel exhibit. My sweet friend Celia recommended to me and I now recommend to you--extended thru Sept. 7, free of charge with RSVP. 👒👠💄. The point is, my warm dinner bowl [it clearly wasn’t Just Salad there] was soooooo good, with brown rice, tomatoes, tender pork and lots of fresh cilantro. So real and satisfying.
It feels good to eat right. That’s what I’m discovering.
And I wasn’t drawn to Junior’s for a big cupcake or cheesecake slice or to Magnolia Bakery for God knows what. I could walk on by. Also did not sway at Li-Lac Chocolates.
I also walked about 20 min from Grand Central to Paley and a good 25 min from Paley to Port Authority--had my CPAP case and luggage, heavy.
