*Such a lovely breeze today. I took down storm windows in the sunroom, opened the latches, flung open the windows, cleaned the sills with Murphy Oil Soap and put up the fitted screens (in two of the seven windows so far). We have a climbing pink rose in the side garden under the windows-- pretty and fragrant. Seems English somehow. I pruned it.
*Candid honesty can be beauty, and I encountered that in a nearby backyard today meeting with B.
*I talked to two sweet little sisters and their mom--neighbors down the block--hurrying by our house.
*Movie Star Kitten (my nickname for Nina), her purr, and Sugar’s sprightly step.
*Nice, ruffly whole-grain macaroni--made in New York--for supper. (I found it at Whole Foods last week.)
*The sunset over the Meadowlands grasses when I drove the New Jersey Turnpike North to Route 3 East, heading back from Elizabeth.
*Hope, compassion, joy, faith, clarity.
I want to get a good night’s rest with this breeze and have a productive day tomorrow.
Good night.
