Maine Notebook: Last Full Day

Tomorrow we do the long drive back to Jersey, stopping in Connecticut to get Sis’s dog, Buttercup, since Sis will be traveling..

Thoughts:

• No more local farm milk in our coffee. I can get a couple of local brands at Whole Foods but not the same as the many picks at the Belfast Co-op.
• We have seen my mother-in-law almost every day for a week.
• Today we had breakfast with family in Mike & Therese’s garden and returned at nite to sit around a campfire and also sing early Happy Birthday to Dan (blueberry pie).
• Love the walking path on High Street.
• The weather was gorgeous.
• So many pretty gardens.
• So many historic homes--with porches, cupolas, sea captain roofs (don’t know how else to describe the roofs but they make me think of sea captains). 👩‍✈️ 
• I hate when vacations end.
