One Friday in Maine

It was 55 degrees tonite! I packed hastily and poorly but fortunately threw in a nice long skirt and, as an afterthought, a green sweater with lettuce (aka bell) sleeves.

I’m used to coming in July and this August trip extends into September.

Today:

  • Dan, Skip and I walked to Belfast Post Office to mail something to Figgy and a postcard to Sis.
  • Skippy and I ate lunch at Chase’s, yum.
  • We visited my mother-in-law, almost 92. We have seen her almost every day all week.
  • Dan canoed with his eldest brother, John.
  • Drove about an hour to Hermon for dinner and laughs w Dan’s sister and family. Includes our niece, Skippy’s cohort--sleepover tonite. Izzy was curling Skippy’s hair. Cute.

Xx
