Cape Cod Sand Bucket List

Pinks I love: tea, sweatshirt, Hadley Pollet bag purchased in Montclair years back.

Let's bury the fact that I started gasping for air during dinner and a man ran over from his bar stool and did the Heimlich Maneuver. It was scary but I'm fine now so let's sweep that under the sand.

Good bucket list for today:
1. Breakfast at Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet. Greek omelet, rye toast, bacon, home fries. Cape Cod notes: The corned beef hash the girls ordered on the side and the bag of local Nauset blend coffee beans I bought for H.
2. Uncle Tim's Bridge.
3. Thrift shop across from Snow's in Orleans. Got a stylish pair of slingback pumps for $3. This is my friend Anne's thrift shop influence.
4. Chatham!!!! Saw dozens of seals beached on a sandbar and the lighthouse and Coast Guard station made famous in this year's movie, The Finest Hours.
5. Went to Lilly Pulitzer store on Main Street and Island Pursuit, but kept debit card in purse; many bills await back home.
6. Chatham Candy Manor, the candy equivalent to Lilly Pulitzer, with pale pink boxes and memorable treats.
7. Laughed and played w Punch and Nikki.
8. Drove to Nauset Light Beach and Coast Guard Beach. Popped out w Sug but it was too cold to stay out long! And NLB closed off; looks like stairs/platform were battered in a storm again. I liked looking out at the sea, no end in sight. So big and real and powerful. Endless, timeless, true. Thanks, Mom, Thanks, Dad, for this gift. For the opportunity to visit and know such sweeping beauty.
9. Reading!

Good night, Cape Cod.
