Friday Night Dip into Denville

Denville, New Jersey seems like a slice of American apple pie, served on small-town Main Street. There's a cool old movie theatre [converted into a candy shop], a jeweler who advertises pearl restringing in the window and Denville Dairy, which was positively packed tonite when we went with Anne and Nikki after Nikki's excellent school talent show. I yearned for a cone or a sundae--soft serve! hot fudge! even sugar-free! And the business dates back to 1966--but I lived to tell the tale of resistance. How strange that a slice of nectarine tasted so sweet just now. Strange but nice. Good night. P.S. I want to go stroll in Denville again! TCOY
  1. Met Moey for lunch.
  2. Walked back from town.
  3. Ice water.
