Drove to Connecticut and went as Sis’s guest to a Stamford Senior Center cocktail party/fundraiser at the Sheraton. She and several other women and men were honored for their volunteer Med Assist work, helping seniors with health care/Medicare questions. I admire her; she has a good, true heart./She also requested a homemade lemon cake w frosting, so I baked her one. Good night. I’m sleeping over tonite!

ReplyDeleteHahahha, hi Liz. I slept till almost 11 a.m.! Sis's cute doggy by my side. We had fun and will have fun today, too.....I think I'm driving back about 8 p.m. Have a nice weekend. Love Alice P.S. My Sis and I are cake snobs. I think we like this one. But that icing recipe is kind of.....IDK.....I think it may be because I tried to decrease the powdered sugar and butter and make less of it...and I think I may have added too much freshly squeezed lemon juice in proportion....but I am happy I made my sister her lemon cake. :)
