Postcard from Ptown

Afternoon strolling Provincetown with Fig and friends....the very tip of the Cape....lands end.....power about to run out on laptop. Quick brushstrokes:

Fig going off with Emmy and Izzy, her cohorts
artists
jewelry
gay couples, gay families, drag queens
Pilgrim Monument
LinguiƧa [the town is Portuguese, and this is the well-known sausage]
Portuguese bakery, with custard-filled donuts and fancy cake slices
Purple Feather chocolate shop
old fudge store opened in the 1950s
homemade dog biscuits
leisure boats on the water
fishing boats--this is a working town, and it's a haul
overflowing flower boxes
narrow alleys
public parking lots
tie-dye
front gardens contained by picket fences
ice cream cones
sunny clear skies
saltwater taffy

TCOY
  1. Early morning walk on Nauset Marsh trail by Salt Pond Visitor Center.
  2. Water.
  3. Walking in hilly Ptown on that winding street.
