....to post a nightcap blog, writing now from the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans, where you can hop on the WiFi. It's right off the bike path, so I stopped in to use the bathroom, refuel, get a new water and check my email.
I also biked with my work notebooks on my back so I could finish a story, but now I'm so tired, I just want to go home and rest. But I have to bike another 30-40 minutes to get there.
I think I biked almost 11 miles to Brewster, guess it's 22 miles round trip. Had so much fun pedaling with my friend Anne. On the way back, we stopped in a little tea/coffee shop, chocolate truffle hideaway, general store [Anne bought skewers to roast marshmallows at our campfire], hardware store [I got a muffin pan to put in my backpack, so I can make Blueberry Cupcakes] and Satucket Farm Stand on Harwich Road. They have fresh breads and berry pies, potted flowers, sweet fruit. I bought a planter of potted dainty yellow daisies that I'm carrying in my bike basket.
I better get going. I'm old and have miles to go.
