In Treehouse, Dressing for Dinner

Figgy and I are staying in the Treehouse, a lofty lodging high in the sky. Please check the photo. The Winvian is a collection of witty, whimsical cottages. An editor I know from Ebony is in one called "Stone," which is really, really cool, too--it's built from Connecticut boulders.

The petite sweet with bright blue bachelor's button flower.
The ride up in the 2013 Chevy Malibu was smooth and sexy--if a car can be sexy. [The Malibu team also refers to the car as "athletic and muscular."] Nice and calm. Fun singing with Fig on the way.

Most embarrassing moment: Each cottage has bikes, so you can bike around the property. Fig and I hopped right on. But I was wearing my turquoise skirt from Not Your Daughter's Jeans and next time I checked, it was soaked with sweat in the back. And I had [awkwardly] stepped off my bike and arrived at the welcome lunch like that. Ooops.

More to come.
