A is for Apple Wedger

In my ongoing quest as a lifestyle writer for magazines and websites, I've spent hours at my old desk today writing about apple wedgers [they also core]; party straws; and collapsible colanders. I like that the latter come in bold, pretty colors like purple.

I wore a good blouse and high black suede wedges and got my hair done. I logged many hours. I am proud to be done with this leg of the journey, though there are many more to come.

I am grateful for the work. Grateful that I can fit it in at home on a cold winter day and night, while candles burn in the next room [on our dining room table]. Thankful that I can push a button and send it off in the dark to a website based in California.

Signing off at 1:23 A.M. Good night.

  1. I also love that part of technology - pushing the send button and voila!, work is delivered. For me, the invention of the PDF proof is a dream come true. (Used to have to get in my car to deliver each layout revision.) Got your email... thank you! Love, Lin
