The Other Side of Midnight

This documentary was eye-opening. In awe of these sisters.
I turned things around a bit today [Saturday]. Started my day writing a Master List to Avoid Lost Days, Dark Days. I decorated it with Sharpie-purple and orange-china-marker hearts and taped on a picture of a cheerful red bird. It helped. So did sharing my story. And so did co-teaching the memoir writing class @ Toni's Kitchen with Elly--the soup kitchen guests have smart, touching stories to tell.

Now I'm tired. Must rest. Good night, sweet dreams. Thank you for being there. I am a work in progress.

TCOY
  1. Bubble bath.
  2. Support group.
  3. Went to Whole Foods and stocked up on yogurt and Purely Elizabeth Pumpkin Fig Granola for healthy snacks.
  4. Saw "Venus and Serena" documentary--part of Montclair Film Festival--with my friend Elly. It was a free screening for Black History Month and we liked it. Co-director Michelle Major did a Q and A after.
