We stopped and locked our bikes to pop in here. My friend Anne wanted to see if they have any new "Turnip Nation" T-shirts, but apparently not.
Just hopped on the internet to check my email.
We couldn't ask for a better day to bike on the Cape. Mother Nature, or God, or the Fates, handed it to us on a silver platter. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, the Cape Cod Rail Trail is pretty empty and we went as far as the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans*, where I got an iced coffee [their Sparrow blend is good] and two little hand-dipped, chocolate-covered peppermints.
More later.
Hope you're enjoying your day.

*According to mapquest.com, if you drive via US-6 W from the house on Wonderstrand Way to the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans, it is 14 minutes/6.44 miles. But I think it is longer mileage on the bike path somehow....anyway, we are proud to have biked there and back. Time to hop back on bikes and pedal home.
