Slept till almost 11:30! in house free of people and pet. Baked panful of vegan Coffee Fudge Brownies [from Alicia Silverstone cookbook] for Figgy, using Valrhona cocoa powder, fine Hudson Valley maple sugar, espresso and Callebaut chocolate. Then made Bittersweet Chocolate Tartlets for book group--not vegan, what with butter, heavy cream and eggs. In between, lots of bowl and pot washing! Didn't get to church but didn't have car and calf muscle felt too injured to bike. Still, feel bad about that. Good night.
