I'd Like to Blog Now, I Really Would---

My friend Howard Kook--whom I met through Gail and Rich--
gave me his mom's copy of this book, copyright 1961. I love it. 

--but it's the kind of night where chocolate is calling/screaming my name...the Cadbury dark chocolate I bought to make Julia Child's classic Queen of Sheba single-layer round cake.....which I still haven't made, last night because vegan Figgy was visiting and the cake calls for eggs and butter....I have to get into bed! Heading upstairs with a tall glass of ice water. Good night.

1. Finally got my gray covered at salon! Long overdue.
2. Walked back from salon in light snow--about 25 minutes.
3. Some veggies today. Spinach, tomato--and some apple, too.
4. Candlelight.
5. Finally got to chat with Sis on phone.
