Over the River and through the Woods

Drove to handsome farm country in Far Hills to see a house to write about. Beautiful life under that roof, from the new kitchen with white and gray marble countertops to the original wide 1800s mantels throughout. The house holds two parents, four kids, two big, friendly dogs--and a pair of small, adorable donkeys were grazing outside.

Right down the road, you can buy eggs at a farm [$5 a dozen], but I realized I had left Montclair without my wallet. My gas gauge was on empty but I made it home, filling the tank when I got there.

Good night.

TCOY
1. Walked Sug around block.
2. At Punch's prodding, made big bunch of kale chips in oven. Used rosemary olive oil and sea salt and after, squeezed some fresh lemon juice on top. Nice, and Punch and Fig loved them.
