Pie High

Made 2 batches [each yields 2 crusts] of Carolyn Weil's All-Butter Pie Dough from Fine Cooking Magazine. Then whipped up 2 pumpkin pies w Punch, an Apple Pie 1 from The Joy of Cooking and 2 free-form apple tarts using Pillsbury refrigerated dough rounds, because they are nondairy/vegan--for Figgy.

Almost caused a fire with apple juice bubbling up and over dough, dripping and burning, then blackening on oven floor. Will scrape off tomorrow.
