Heavenly Beach

My photo of people I don't know climbing out of the cradle of Long Nook Beach in Truro today. So stunning, so lovely. Dan, Punch and I had a brisk afternoon swim in the waves there with Dan F., who was visiting his aunt in Truro and with my friend Elly, who is doing a weeklong art workshop there! Thanks to Dan F's Aunt Naomi, the car had a beach sticker for admittance to this paradise. So beautiful to swim in that cradle of water, towering dunes behind us. Wow. Too bad for the traffic snarl on Route 6 going back and our car overheating--a 20-min ride took us two hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Still deeply grateful for that swim, and feeling very refreshed. Good night, soft landing to us all.
