On a Wing and a Prayer

A friend shared a prayer w me today and I am grateful. Prayer is gentle, soothing, comforting. Prayer is grounded in faith.

TCOY

1. Figgy and Dan both had to leave for work early this morning, so my good sitter & friend, Elaine, came at 9:15 to watch Punchy. She stayed for 3 hours. I was able to walk to and from my support group [50 min round trip] on this beautiful day. On way back, went to Juice Culture for acai, PB, banana, strawberry and granola bowl, w cacao nibs. Yum.
2. Nap on couch.
3. Worked hard on deadline, but watched one 1960s episode of "Batman" on MeTV. I love old TV shows.
4. Walked Butter and Sugar 3 times.
5. Falafel. And stared down baklava when I went to pick it up.
6. Lots of ice water.
7. Have been texting and exchanging funny emails w Sis, who is on the West Coast for 2 weeks.
