Sis, Dan, Punch & I went out with Connecticut Captain Bobby Tambascio to fish yesterday afternoon from about 1:30 to 5 p.m. We reeled in a large striped bass, about 18 lbs. and 34 inches.
I can't isolate Saturday's photos from Bobby's awesome website, so please click on this link, below. By the last frame, we all look tired--all except Punch, that is. The first photo is me and Sis, scroll left for P., the fish and more.

I loved the pictures, Alice! Great big fish, too! Your uncle Aldo would have been so impressed -- he was quite a fisherman. Looks like a fun afternoon...
ReplyDeleteTake care. Love, Lin
Hi Lin. Sis and I were talking about that Cape Cod fishing trip--what kind of fish did he like to catch? Where did he fish? Sending love. Alice p.s. thanks for sharing the sauce recipe!!!
DeleteI don't remember exactly what Dad liked to catch. I remember him going to the shore here in Jersey and catching "blues". He cooked them with orange marmalade on top and they were good. I don't think my mother liked them, though. When he visited us in Alaska, he and Joe had a good time halibut fishing. <3
DeleteOh, that's cool....love that...
