Taking a break to post here. Ended up writing article until about 10:30 pm. I love blogging, and taking time out to do it is a treat. I guess you figured that out already.

TCOY, Day 3 off Sugar Road

1. Walked Sug around block.
2. Watched "The Beverly Hillbillies" episode at 7 am and part of "My Three Sons" at 7:30. Sometimes I do that on days I get up at 6 with Punchy--after she has scooted up block for the 6:59 am schoolbus. Those old shows are like a spoonful of baby food, warm and comforting. Rice pudding for the soul.
3. Planned my meals.
4. Private Benjamin appointment; helpful insights. Many.
5. Important personal writing.

• A lot of work deadlines, so bought dinner to go at The Pie Store. One quart vegan carrot ginger soup [we all love it]; one small chicken pie; and 3 mini sausage rolls for Punch, $36.70.
• CVS, went for Rxs and bought multi-pack Caress soap bars and half-gallon organic milk, so $14.76.
• Grove Deli, delicious turkey on rye with lettuce, tomato and mayo, plus $1 tip, $8.23. [I was feeling shaky and didn't think the soup would be enough of a dinner for me.]
• Uber back from Private Benjamin appt., plus $1 tip, $9.49.

TOTAL DAILY SPEND: $69.18.
