All Is Calm

Watching this campy horror comedy now.
Thank you, https://www.svengoolie.com.
Last night, two of Punchy's friends slept here. They were up until almost 2 am. I made them pancakes this morning, using oat milk instead of whole milk or buttermilk, because one child avoids dairy. I was less cranky and tired than I would normally be because our sitter, Elaine, was here from 7:30 to 10:30 and Dan and I went out to hear my treasured friend Eric's band! play at Montclair Brewery on Walnut Street.

Tonight it is Punchy's turn to sleep over. I don't allow 2 sleepovers in one school weekend because she gets overtired, but this is a four-day weekend for MLK Day and teachers' workshop [Monday/Tuesday].

Dan out at an annual poker game with Michael and friends. Figgy in NYC for a bday party. Sug and I cozy, with candles burning on mantel.

Good night.
