Punchy Makes Chicken Dinner

Working at home and stopping to manage Punch after she gets off the schoolbus at 2:30 can be stressful. Quick, quick--switch gears. From writing and interviewing for articles to throwing on skirt, top and heels; brushing hair; fishing white Converse sneakers out of bathroom sink, where she had experimented cleaning the toe caps with toothpaste and also with baking soda; telling Punch to stop the blender and pour her shake; and dashing out to her weekly therapy appt.

Now the focus is on math mid-term tomorrow. Study hall on couch.

Figgy reviewed a lot with Punch and I'm finishing up. It's late, nearly 9 pm.

TCOY
  1. Talked to Sis.
  2. Texted friend.
  3. Sitting and sipping small dark hot chocolate in elegant place.
  4. Punchy made dinner! She walked to Kings from town to get ingreds, stayed on budget and made delicious, nutritious "Girlfriend Chicken" meal from classroom cookbook. I supervised a bit but she is a good cook!
