Punch was somehow anxious and up from 2 am to 5 am. She came into our room about 4 and then went up to Figgy’s room soon after.
She couldn’t settle down. She was hungry, restless and thinking about the next episode of a TV show, she said. We went downstairs, where she ate sugared raspberries and spoonfuls of creamy Italian mascarpone cheese, the kind my friend Nan likes. She also ate dried Turkish figs.
We went to sleep for 2 hours on the 2 living room couches.
I am really tired now.
