Zoom Bloggers' Bash

At 4 pm, Kim, Nan, Liz and I met for a virtual bloggers' bash. It was good to see their faces. We got together in person for an overnight in March right before coronavirus dug into New York. That seems like years ago.

I like these friends and their caring hearts, practical approaches, big dreams and sound advice.

$ MONEY SPENT OUT OF POCKET

• Forgot to add from Tuesday, Piccola Cucina 98 on Walnut Street, big portion turkey/chicken meatballs [to add to homemade vegetable soup] and container Italian hummus, $19 + tip, $20.
• Villa Victoria Pizzeria delivery his evening. Punchy's brother/sister friends arrived around 6:30 and we had not eaten dinner, nor had they, nor do we have a car now that ours died. So I added a big tip for pandemic delivery [$13], totaling up at $90. But it does include dinner for 4 in our family and 2 guests. I chose: 2 orders chicken fingers [no fries]; one steak hero on garlic bread to divide up; 2 orders garlic knots with red sauce; one large spinach salad; eggplant rollatini dinner [Dan's favorite]; and fresh mozzarella platter.  
• CVS, went for Rx at 8 pm and spent another $28 on half-gallon whole milk; Nature Valley nut bars; 2 shelf-stable boxes of almond milk; pint of ice cream; and family-size box of cereal.
• 2 Ubers to and from CVS with tips, $11.57 and $9.05, so $20.62.

Total daily spend: $158.62. K, I can see during first days without a car that Ubers do add up. 

Ongoing monthly spend as of June 18: $2,105.62.
