Family Support

FS (Family Support) is a big part of the new program we have in place. I sure am grateful for the FS branch!

TCOY

1. Biked in and out of town. On the way in, at 5:40, I passed Figgy walking home from work. I wanted to get to Moss & More before it closed at 6 but stopped so Fig could show me the bird nest she noticed in a shrub, with little chirpers. So cute. I still made it on time.
2. Weeded patio.
3. Had FS zoom session. I’m talking everything from practical advice to praise to deep breathing exercises for diffusing stress--all for the caregivers. The sessions addressing kids and their paths is separate.

$ MONEY SPENT OUT OF POCKET

• Cash given to Punch, who walked into town w a friend. They wore masks but did go to Starbucks for drinks and Kings for sushi. $17. My friend hired P to water her flowers while she’s on vacation, so that’s a good job.
• Moss & More, refilled my tea tree cleaning spray bottle +  bought greeting card, $14.60.
• Kings, oat milk; graduation card for Figgy; sustainable, plant-based cake plates; organic half and half; turkey burger; broccoli salad; pound of butter; coconut oil; front door decor; corn tortillas; and $25 for new welcome mat, $75.
