I just finished reading a book by that name by the well-known writer Calvin Trillin. He wrote three Alice books.
She was his wife, and it seems their love was great.
It was an enjoyable read that brought a smile to my face.
I now want to travel to Tuscany, St. John and the Isle of Capri, tho the last has been on my dream list for years. Also, I’m hankering to revisit Block Island-- Moey and I went once in our twenties!

I just saw the pics from my 1983 trip which included the isle of Capri! Italy was in the paper, J said something about wanting to go, and I pulled out my album. The pics included thelthe ski up the mountain, with blue, blue waters below, and the rowboat into the grotto with it's eerie blue light. Italy is amazing.

ReplyDeleteOh! Capri! Lucky! Moey and I went on a tour of 14 countries in 21 days when we graduated, and I am forever grateful. But one day, I am going back and will find my way to Capri. We did hit Rome and Florence......I am sending prayers and strength and calm to you. and to J and P. W is a great brother. I also hope your work is going well. And that you are enjoying your garden.
