The Luck of the Irish ☘️ ☘️

Today I wore dangling, shiny green shamrock earrings and scattered fake gold coins (from the pot of gold at end of the 🌈) down the stairs and around the house for good luck. Nina immediately extended a soft kitten 🐱 paw to play with one, always entranced with glitter and shine.

I had a corned beef reuben at the diner in town and boiled a pot of cabbage, carrots and new potatoes.

Skippy said her favorite part is the Irish Soda Bread. Dan usually bakes it but we were busy this morning with appointments. So I bought a round one at Kings.

Thought a lot of my parents and Irish grandparents today and talked to Sis, texted with our fair Irish lassie in Florida.

Good night. May the road rise with you.

  1. I made Soda bread and thought about Irish relations too. I also went to landscape supply place to get pea gravel. It makes me feel in touch with my ethnic origin when I use rocks to decorate! Erin go Bragg!

  2. I ate soda bread at Maureen's where we gathered first time since Bill's death. WE toasted our dear, missing friend, and enjoyed Mo's THREE grandchildren! Plus some old friends joined, too.
