Running on Empty

Today I laced up my hot pink sneakers and officially started training for the 5-mile run in Spring Lake on Memorial Day Weekend. By that I mean, I ran one lap at the track [1/4 mile] and then walked three laps [3/4 mile]. I intend to build up my stamina gradually. And my friend Elly said she might join me for some time on the track.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Please see above.
  2. Walked Puffball around block once.
  3. Lunch and chat with Elly :)
  4. Nap.
  5. Cooked healthy dinner again--but all of this cooking does take time. At least H. did the huge sinkful of dishes.

  1. Yay, running! Didn't you do track in high school? I've found it to be a new and wonderful way to work off tension. Keep us posted on your progress, please.
