In Another Life

In another life, or maybe in my immediate or distant future, I would like to:

• Read poetry.
• Recite poetry.
• Play an instrument.
• Have a porch and a picket fence.
• Make my own bread [real bread, not quick bread].
• Have a neat house.

That being said, about to drift off to sleep reading Birthday Letters, a book of poems by Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath's husband. H.'s friend Dan lent it to me two summers ago and I barely read it...but now we are seeing him tomorrow and I want to return it, so better late than never.

What's on your wistful/wishful bucket list?

4. Cut some peach roses from our rosebush, put one in empty milk bottle and sent some home with Moey.
5. Planted pink snapdragons.
6. Made a small, simple blueberry crumble.
