Carpet of Snow--what a pretty name. |
My nasturtium seeds have sprouted--country blooms of orange and yellow-gold. I also grew a little box of flowering white alyssum from seeds, and some of last year's portulaca, in the same box, came back. I wrote it off as dead and there it is, pretty red blooms that withstood winter chills and barren seasons. It stored its beauty inside.
Good night.

Seeds are such a joy. You plant them on faith, they cost almost nothing (compared to buying plants), they can take a long time to pay off, but when they bloom it's totally magic.
ReplyDeleteHooray for you for having the faith and foresight to plant them. Now you deserve to enjoy!
Yes, Nan....I often don't have luck with them...but nasturtium are pretty great.....thank you, Nan. alice
