Who reaps the benefits (uh, calories) of your efforts in perfecting a particular recipe? This is one time that I am probably glad that we don't live within pie distance. It would be hard to resist "Alice's experiments."

Hi Lin....it was for the Toni's Kitchen Summer Berry Bake-Off today to benefit the soup kitchen in town...i baked one blueberry pie to raffle off and one to enter in the bake-off. I didn't even place! You should have seen the awesome, awesome entries.....part of my filling leaked on my passenger seat as I drove over. That is just my speed. it was fun. love to you, al
