Trying hard to make healthy changes. For the second time in a week, I cooked a big bunch of Swiss chard....feels wholesome, fills you up and is good for you. Go, greens. Served with tilapia, and gently sauteed, petite yellow and orange squashes from Jon and Nina's farm garden. Nina also gave us two zucchini blossoms. I've heard about those being quite a delicacy, and seen them in the produce aisle with a diamond-dust price tag. "Just bread them and fry them. Dip them in a little flour and water," Nina said as she stood waist-high in zucchini plants. Yes, they were delicious.
Also bought organic turkey sausages so I can start having protein-based breakfasts that I like. I need to power myself productively through my day, and I think a balance of lean protein and leafy greens can help.
Good night.

TCOY
- Boot camp in the park.
- Doctor's appt. I had been putting off. Think I got some good advice, and facing the music is always better than ignoring it.
- Read an essay by E.B. White and later played with Sug, me laughing and she loving our roughhousing. That powder puff can be fierce and devilish.
- Bike ride with H. after dinner.
- Just sorted through and filed bills...again...to clear my slate and my mind for work assignments.
