'rocky horror picture show'

fig's creative bday party this year is....snacks and cake at home, then the Saturday midnight showing of 'the rocky horror picture show' at the bellevue theatre in montclair with 9 guests. h. and i are up to do the pickup [in two cars] around 2.15 a.m.

1. biked to meeting today.
2. sought support, trying to grow. it is hard. feel vulnerable. do i want to be liked or do i want to be honest...
3. cucumber salad.
4. walked sug around block once.
5. weeded garden. considered that though we spray, yank, banish, hate, curse and toss them, weeds can be beautiful. they are green, fertile and growing. they even flourish triumphantly between cement patio bricks. some even flower. that is persistence. i think there's a lesson to be learned from weeds. maybe the weedy parts of our personalities--the things we want to yank and banish--can teach us something.
