One Degree of Separation from Garrison Keillor

Hello from Minnesota. Home of Land O'Lakes Butter, "Prairie Home Companion" and 3M. My cabdriver from the airport said he has driven Garrison Keillor--whose radio show I love--several times. He's tall and big, Mike the cabbie said, and usually is pretty busy on his cell phone/device.

Not much else to report yet. A couple dozen of us flew here from all over the country for Auto Boot Camp, which starts tomorrow morning. Our welcome bags hold camouflage T-shirts to wear.

Tonight, a bus took us all to St. Paul for dinner at Dixie's. My glass of Little Black Dress Moscato and my BBQ chicken were yum. But the best things on the table were the biscuits--pull-apart tender, buttery, served warm with baby-sized crocks of honey butter. I hated to leave the last one in the basket, but I wasn't coming home.

Good night.

TCOY
  1. Boot camp in the park.
  2. A lot of airport walking.
  3. About to get a good night's sleep.
