It's Punch's first time in a hotel. I think my first time was on the St. Mary's School eighth grade trip to Washington, D.C.
She has asked me about the peephole on the door--I moved a chair over so she could look from inside, and I stood outside. She thinks it's interesting that the maids will make our beds and clean up our room. She likes the little fridge, hidden behind a white pineboard cupboard. She happily arranged our yogurt cups and drinks.
She liked the pool. The hot cider in the lobby. The breakfast. The steaming cup of herbal tea I brewed in our room, and the little containers of creamer.
But enough with all this. We have a Cape Cod ocean to see.
Enjoy your day.
