Beach Plums and Rose Thorns and a Ship Captain's Sign

Punch at Nauset Light Beach, 7:30 p.m. We walked 40+ minutes to reach this sweeping ocean beach. Punchy got tangled in some thorny branches on Cable Road. I have loved that lighthouse for decades, ever since my teen years. Such is the life of two freelancers; Dan and I worked hard but did not wrap everything up and tie it w a bow, so we each had to go off and work a few hours.... Good stuff:
  1. Walked Sug w Punch past apple trees and old ship captain's sign, weathered after decades.
  2. Beach plum bushes.
  3. Ocean waves. We went right in at 6 p.m.
  4. Punch made me lunch; chicken sausages w her mustard sauce.
  5. Saw the old Three Sisters wood lighthouses, so named because with their white bases and black tops, they looked like ladies in dresses.
  6. Beautiful breeze and lovely night sky.
Good night.
