Handbags with a Heart

Sis and I drove 2 hours to Maple Shade, NJ for a handbag fundraiser for Devereux. Our cousin, Lin, has a grown son w autism and Devereux has been pivotal to Joey’s support. He was on a waiting list for housing for a while and just moved into a great place within the last couple years./Tonight was fun. We were at Lin’s table with her daughter, sister-in-law and others. The people at every table brought their own snacks, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, hummus, wine./Designer handbags by Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, Coach and more were raffled off and auctioned off, all for the good cause./Sis bid for and got a nice Marc Jacobs leather satchel for $80! I snagged some Avon products in the basket raffles, products I like: a pretty lipstick, lip gloss and Skin So Soft bath oil, with that signature scent that’s lovely on the body and also repels mosquitoes. Sis and I sleeping at Lin’s now. Good night to you.
