And so is the quiche crust I just made! [Note to Kim: Will post easy crust recipe tomorrow. Don’t judge my crimping fail.]
It tastes very good, but unfortunately, I also did not steam the broccoli long enough. Oh well. I guess that’s what I get for starting dinner at 8:45 p.m.--after making Punch Annie’s Mac and Cheese and steamed broccoli when Dan brought her home from gymnastics st 8:15.
TCOY
- Went to Joyist w Punch and had the yogurt and fruit bowl. Yum. We brought Figgy a bowl. [I got the half-size bowls, $6 each vs. $12.]
- Walked Sug around block.
- Afternoon nap.
- Ate broccoli in that quiche and used half whole wheat, half white flour for crust.
- Enjoyed reading Kitchen Confidential, our book group choice, by Anthony Bourdain.
Quiche looks great! Must have been something in the air - I tried a new recipe for baked flounder with roasted tomatoes, and it was good. Recommend the new Janet Jackson video, so warm and fun!
