Thank you for snow, a clean, new sift, a freshly laundered coverlet for our tired earth. Thank you for seeing M and A across the street, all bundled up, leaving with their Dad for the schoolbus this morning. Thank you for trees and birdhouses. Thank you for the fence post and the fire pit and for Dan being by my side. Thank you for the daffodil and tulip bulbs I tucked deep in a planter before the first frost. Their beauty will emerge, and so will ours. So has ours.
