I remember the lazy days of summer as a girl in Dumont....walking to and from my friend Irene's house around the corner on White Beeches Drive, or into Bergenfield for a highlight of the season, the sidewalk sale, source of the first album I bought [Beach Boys "Endless Summer"]. This heat has me feeling lethargic, and I'm not eating right. I have all I can do to complete the most menial tasks...I can't wait to get back home out of our un-air conditioned car and lie on bed in front of the A.C.
