Urchin Visited and I Forgot to Blog!

Even the nonvegans loved the vegan chocolate peanut butter Rice Krispies Squares. I used three small tubs of Tiny Trapeze marshmallow creme to make two large panfuls.

That's not like me, going to bed without blogging, but Punch was here from Monday morning through this morning. Two barbecues, making two trays of vegan chocolate peanut butter Rice Krispies Squares [marshmallows contain egg whites, so I used Tiny Trapeze marshmallow creme from Whole Foods instead], long bubble bath for Punch, bedtime books, storytelling [about Punch and her mom growing strawberries], laundry.....just wanted to check in now.
I went into Rachel Brown Jewelry today, where Figgy is interning, to brainstorm about social media/editorial placement ideas. I love this synagogue across the street on the corner of Lexington Avenue and 55th Street. The gilded, bejeweled spheres remind me of jewelry.

TCOY
  1. We walked about 35 minutes from Port Authority to jewelry showroom.
  2. When I discovered an underground Dunkin' Donuts at the E subway station, I didn't succumb. My high heels hurt, I'd gotten caught in the rain without an umbrella, I was cranky and anxious, and I didn't succumb.
  3. Private Benjamin.

  3. Non-members can certainly go in - not sure if you can any time or just during services. I'll try going in with you sometime - maybe I can give them the secret handshake :)
