2. Listened to last half hour of Terry Gross's radio interview with Norman Lear--took me back to watching 70s TV with my parents. Happy memories.
3. Made Melissa Clark's Brown Butter Skillet Cornbread from last week's NY Times Food Section. You brown the butter first, use maple syrup instead of sugar--and 2 1/4 cups buttermilk. Very good and moist. I like Melissa's recipes a lot. Here's the VIDEO.
