Walkable Suburb

Punch and her new friend's baby sister. The girls dote on the baby.

No school today for teacher workshops. Punch and I walked into town with her new friend who moved here from Brooklyn, plus the friend's mom and baby sister. Long walk, Java Love, playground, dash to dentist because swing hit friend in front teeth. She is okay. I think I will remember days like these--endless rambling and tooling around, the girls picking berries off prickly bushes on Valley Road on the way home, and little purple flowers to make a potion. We were out on our adventure from 12:30 to 5.  When we returned, Punchy's legs were tired [believe me, that is RARE] and I couldn't wait to get my sneakers off.
