Friday Wrap-up

What a beautiful sunny day. I helped set up the Fifth Grade Class Picnic starting around 8 a.m. It was fun. The women who organized it, wow!

Hundreds of fifth graders--who move up to middle school this fall--tumbled onto the idyllic grass field, after walking there with their teachers...there were tables for tattoos, clay art, friendship bracelets....a photo booth, DJ, obstacle course....incredible school spirit signs....a "breakfast" table with mini bagels, mini muffins, donuts, fruit...lunch....chips.....water....

I was really impressed. It looked like the kids had so much fun. I stayed til about 10 but many moms signed on for the day.

I didn't want to blog now because I'm tired and it's been a hard week, with bursts of happiness in between. I also plan to leave the house by 7:15 for an 8 a.m. yoga class. But I wanted to track my spending before I go to hell in a hand basket.

Now, good night.

  1. I used to dread and hate summers. Yay no homework, yay some lazy days. We’ll just lean on the good stuff for now.

    Enjoy!
