Tired, Good Night

I was up at 5 a.m. yesterday because my mind started working through a story I had to write....then I was up 6 today to unlock the church door for Tuesday morning support group. [Three of us have a key every month. Once, I overslept.]

So now I'm tired and can't wait to sleep!

TCOY

1. Support group.
2. Walked Sug around block.
3. Made pea soup with leeks and fresh mint.
4. Very short nap, 20 minutes, almost too short to be TCOY.
5. Private Benjamin appoinment; helpful.
6. My editor/friend from magazine I write for came to Montclair to take me and another writer to lunch. It was lovely.
7. Got bra and underwear, needed.

• Clores Florist, beautiful mossy planter with thriving pink hyacinths and a tiny faux bird nest, complete with eggs. Gift for my editor [see above, #5]. I didn't send anything to her and her husband [the publisher] at the holidays. $21.40.
• Johari bra store on Church Street, fancy bra, underwear and Spanx tights.[I did need the first two and the last, a fashion staple, was 50 percent off], $126.
• ATM bank fee, $3.
• Parking meters, $3.

TOTAL DAILY SPEND: $153.40.
MONTHLY SPEND AS OF APRIL 9: $1,532.80.
AVERAGE DAILY SPEND SO FAR THIS MONTH: $170.31.

Lamp, $79; luxe hand cream, $55; Giotto dinner to go + jar of imported Italian arthichokes, $46; dog groomer/beauty salon, $75; vet for hamster, $157; necklace repair, $128; blowout, $55; Over the Moon, bday gifts for Punch friend + book for me, $60; Kings groceries, $132; liquor store, $32; bra/underwear/tights, $126. Steep subtotal of $945.

MONEY THOUGHTS: My bras are lacking and I think I like the new one. Johari is known for fitting customers. The saleswoman said I was wearing my bra band way too low, that I look slimmer with a proper fit. I'm just hoping I get used to wearing it higher, as she adjusted the new one, because the underwire on the side dug in after 7 hours. I tried to buy two stock shares on my Chase Bank app today but not sure the transaction went through. I had hoped my investment account was linked to my checking account for that.
