Leaving @ 5:15 A.M. to catch a 7 o'clock flight to Steamboat Springs, CO [changing planes in Chicago]. GM has invited a group of journalists who write about cars and car maintenance to test-drive the new GMC in the snowy mountains, and to take a class about driving safely in winter weather. We'll also go on a sleigh ride to a mountaintop restaurant for dinner, and do other nice things. I'll be gone two nights, back by Saturday night.
I can't wait to see Steamboat Springs. Never mind that I've gotten some ribbing from Moey and Patsy about how the professional driver in the car with me better watch out, because I can be a little unpredictable or nerve-wracking at the wheel sometimes. I'm sure that driver will be well prepared.
